Δώσαμε έναν αγώνα με μοναδικό σκοπό την σωτηρία του δήμου, με την θέληση να επουλώσουμε τις πληγές του παρελθόντος και να οδηγήσουμε τον δήμο στον δύσκολο δρόμο της ανόρθωσης και της προόδου.
Δεν αντιπαρατεθήκαμε σε πρόσωπα, δεν συκοφαντήσαμε και δεν επιχειρήσαμε να σπιλώσουμε υπολήψεις.
Δεν κινηθήκαμε στο κρυφτούλι των παρασκηνίων, ούτε επιτρέψαμε σε μηχανισμούς δυσφήμισης να μας παρασύρουν στο σκανδαλοθηρικό λυκόφως του περιθωρίου, αλλά πιστοί στις αξίες μας μείναμε ακλόνητοι στην καθαρότητα του προσκηνίου και της δημοσιότητας.
Δεν θελήσαμε, κρυβόμενοι πίσω από το δάχτυλό μας, να ζητήσουμε την συνδρομή κομματικών ή άλλων μηχανισμών στον αγώνα μας, γιατί θεωρούμε τους δημότες πολίτες ελεύθερους, που έχουν δικαίωμα αλλά και υποχρέωση να συμμετέχουν ενεργά στην διαμόρφωση της πολιτικής του δήμου και να μη μεταβάλλονται σε αποδέκτες και εκτελεστές αποφάσεων για τη ζωή και το μέλλον τους, που έχουν ληφθεί από εξουσιαστές της θελήσεώς τους.
Γιατί πιστεύουμε, ότι οι εκπρόσωποι στον δήμο είναι ο καθρέπτης της τοπικής κοινωνίας και της ποιότητας του πολιτισμού της.
Οι παλαιότεροι από εσάς γνωρίζουν καλά και οι νέοι πρέπει να ξέρουν ότι είμαστε αντιμέτωποι με την βαριά απειλή προβλημάτων, που το πλήθος και το μέγεθός τους δεν αμφισβητείται από κανένα και που ζητούν άμεση επίλυση.
