«Στην Ζαγορά είδαμε βροχή πάνω από 88 χιλιοστά, στην Μακρυκάπα Ευβοίας 70mm, στην Τραγάνα Φθιώτιδας 65mmκαι στον Θεολόγο όπως και στην Ιερά Μονή Μεγίστης Λαύρας Αγίου Όρους 50. Ήδη έχουμε μεγάλα ύψη βροχής αλλά το πρόβλημα είναι ότι οι συνθήκες που επικρατούν, δηλαδή ο συνδυασμός της “ψυχρής λίμνης” με τη δημιουργία του βαρομετρικού χαμηλού στα χαμηλότερα στρώματα, θα δώσει εμμονή των φαινομένων και αύριο Τρίτη και την Τετάρτη».
Αυτό σύμφωνα με τον κ.Λαγουβάρδο «δείχνει ότι σε κάποιες περιοχές θα έχουμε συνολικό ύψος βροχής ακόμα και τα 500 χιλιοστά. Την μεγαλύτερη βροχόπτωση θα την εμφανίσει όλη η Θεσσαλία, οι Σποράδες, περιοχές της Φθιώτιδας, της Εύβοιας, της Χαλκιδικής και τμήματα της βορειοανατολικής Πελοποννήσου. Σαν συνολικό ύψος βροχής θα είναι μεγάλα στην Θεσσαλία και στην Πιερία».
Ο διευθυντής Ερευνών του Αστεροσκοπείου Αθηνών εστιάζει την προσοχή εξηγώντας στο Newsit.gr καθώς «μιλάμε για μεγάλης διάρκειας κακοκαιρία, τα φαινόμενα θα επικρατήσουν μέχρι την Τετάρτη βράδυ και Πέμπτη πρωί. Δυνητικά είναι πολύ επικίνδυνη. Από πλευράς αναμενόμενων βροχοπτώσεων σύμφωνα με τα προγνωστικά μοντέλα που έχουμε στην διάθεσή μας, μας δίνουν πολύ μεγάλα ύψη βροχής και δείχνουν ακραία συμπεριφορά της κακοκαιρίας και θέλει πολλή προσοχή».
Η θερμοκρασία θα πέσει αρκετά σε αυτές τις περιοχές που θα βρέξει. «Παράλληλα έρχονται και ψυχρότερες μάζες θα είναι κάτω από 30 βαθμοί Κελσίου. Το σημαντικό είναι η βροχόπτωση, όχι ο υδράργυρος.
