Με κόσμο πλημμύρισε η πλατεία Δημαρχείου των Φαρσάλων την Παρασκευή το βράδυ, στην επιστροφή του Γιώργου Κατσαούνη στη γενέτειρά του μετά την πολύμηνη παρουσία στον Άγιο Δομήνικο και στο «Survivor».
Μικροί και μεγάλοι συνωστίστηκαν, προκειμένου να βγάλουν μία φωτογραφία με τον δημοφιλή 27χρονο αγρότη, που προ ημερών αποβλήθηκε από το παιχνίδι, καθώς κατηγορείται ότι κινήθηκε απειλητικά και χτύπησε τον Τάκη Καραγκούνια, έπειτα από διαπληκτισμό που είχαν.
Το πλήθος φώναζε «Τσακατσούκας» ρυθμικά. Ο Γιώργος Κατσαούνης πήρε το μικρόφωνο και ξεκίνησε, λέγοντας «Kαλώς ήρθατε στην πόλη των Μυρμιδόνων».
Ο ίδιος έδειξε να το απολαμβάνει και με το παραπάνω, επιστρέφοντας στην αγαπημένη του πόλη, που τόσες φορές φώναξε δυνατά το όνομά της μετά το τέλος των αγωνισμάτων.
Την Παρασκευή ο Γιώργος Κατσαούνης παραχώρησε την πρώτη του συνέντευξη, λίγες ημέρες μετά την αποβολή του από το Survivor.
Ο πρώην παίκτης του ριάλιτι επιβίωσης βρέθηκε καλεσμένος στην εκπομπή «Love It» και αναφέρθηκε μεταξύ άλλων, στον τσακωμό με τον Τάκη Καραγκούνια, το φλερτ με τη Μυριέλλα Κουρεντή, αλλά και τη φιλία του με την Ασημίνα Χατζηανδρέου.
