| Με νέες παραστάσεις επιστρέφει στις 14 Μαρτίου στο θέατρο Τζένη Καρέζη, η παράσταση του Μπερνάρ Μαρί Κολτές, «Αγώνας Νέγρου και Σκύλων», σε σκηνοθεσία Αλέξανδρου Σωτηρίου. Έργο που έγραψε ο Γάλλος συγγραφέας το 1979 μετά από ένα ταξίδι του στην Αφρική και αποτελεί σχόλιο για την αποικιοκρατία, την ανισότητα και τις φυλετικές διακρίσεις. Με σκηνοθετική δεξιοτεχνία ο σκηνοθέτης Αλέξανδρος Σωτηρίου στήνει μια παράσταση ζωντανή, που πάλλεται και εκπέμπει με τον πιο σύγχρονο τρόπο το επίκαιρο θέμα του, θίγοντας δεξιοτεχνικά τους φόβους, τις ψευδαισθήσεις, τις ελπίδες αλλά και την απληστία του ανθρώπου, που τον θέτουν συχνά εκτός ορίων, ηθικής και εν τέλει προσωπικής ευτυχίας. Η παράσταση που γνώρισε θερμότατη υποδοχή και σχόλια από τους θεατές και την κριτική, στηρίζεται σε τέσσερις ηθοποιούς που δίνουν τον καλύτερο εαυτό τους. Tον Δημήτρη Ραφαήλο στο ρόλο του αδίστακτου αποικιοκράτη, τον Μάρκο Παπαδοκωνσταντάκη στο ρόλο του Γάλλου μηχανικού, τον Στέφανο Μουαγκιέ στο ρόλο του Αφρικανού που αναζητά δικαιοσύνη και την Ντόρα Μακρυγιάννη που θα αποτελέσει τον καταλύτη στην εξέλιξη της υπόθεσης. Ο «Αγώνας Νέγρου και Σκύλων», επιστρέφει με νέες παραστάσεις από τη Δευτέρα 14 Μαρτίου και θα παρουσιάζεται κάθε Δευτέρα και Τρίτη στο θέατρο «Τζένη Καρέζη». Λίγα λόγια για το έργο Σε μία χώρα στις Δυτικής Αφρικής, ο Άλμπουρυ ένας μαύρος άνδρας, εισβάλει σε ένα περίκλειστο και καλά φρουρούμενο Γαλλικό εργοτάξιο, για να παραλάβει το νεκρό σώμα του αδελφού του, που σκοτώθηκε σε εργατικό ατύχημα. Εκεί θα συναντηθεί με τρεις λευκούς που κατοικούν εντός του εργοταξίου, τον Όρν τον υπεύθυνο του εργοταξίου, τον Καλ έναν νεαρό Γάλλο μηχανικό και την Λεονή μία γυναίκα με εύθραυστη υγεία, που έφερε ο Όρν μαζί του απ’ το Παρίσι με σκοπό να την παντρευτεί. Οι δύο λευκοί άνδρες με διάφορες προφάσεις, αρνούνται να παραδώσουν το νεκρό στον αδελφό του. Τότε ο Άλμπουρυ τους δηλώνει ότι δεν πρόκειται να φύγει από τον χώρο τους μέχρι να του δώσουν τον νεκρό για να τον θάψει. Η στάση του Άλμπουρυ θα οδηγήσει την αντιπαράθεση του με τον Όρν και τον Καλ στα άκρα και θα φέρει στην επιφάνεια τη συγκάλυψη της δολοφονίας, του Νουόφια του αδελφού του Άλμπουρυ καθώς και ένα σκάνδαλο διαφθοράς, εις βάρος των κατοίκων του χωριού που βρίσκεται κοντά στο εργοτάξιο, το οποίο η Γαλλική κατασκευαστική εταιρεία θέλει να κρατήσει καλά κρυμμένο. Στον αγώνα του για δικαιοσύνη ο Άλμπουρυ θα βρει έναν απρόσμενο σύμμαχο, την Λεονή. Τα γεγονότα του έργου διαδραματίζονται εντός μιας νύχτας, από το σούρουπο ως την αυγή στις επόμενης μέρας. Σκηνοθετικό Σημείωμα «Ό Αγώνας Νέγρου και Σκύλων του Μπερνάρ Μαρί Κολτές, έργο σκληρό αλλά ταυτόχρονα και βαθιά ουμανιστικό, μας μιλάει για τον φόβο της συνύπαρξης, τον φόβο του ανθρώπου για τον άνθρωπο. Ο Κολτές στήνει ένα καλοδουλεμένο ψυχολογικό θρίλερ, όπου η ακρότητα των συγκρούσεων των προσώπων το αναγάγουν σε μία σύγχρονη τραγωδία. Στην εποχή μας που καθημερινά κτίζουμε γύρω μας, αόρατους προσωπικούς αλλά και κυριολεκτικούς εθνικούς φράχτες, η πένα του Γάλλου σημαίνοντα δραματουργού, μας υπενθυμίζει, πως η άγνοια γεννά τον ρατσισμό. Το γράμμα στην μητέρα του φανερώνει καθαρά την άποψη του Κολτές, για το πώς βλέπει τον κόσμο που τον περιβάλει: «Υπάρχει πολύ μεγάλη ευχαρίστηση ξέρεις, να πηγαίνεις ενάντια στο ρεύμα. Σε μια κοινωνία που το χρήμα είναι ο αρχηγός, εσύ να μην έχεις χρήματα. Σε μια κοινωνία που η αγάπη είναι πειθαρχική, εσύ να έχεις έκλυτη αγάπη. Δεν είναι πιο παράλογο ή πιο οδυνηρό απ’ το να πηγαίνεις ανάποδα». Η σκηνοθετική ματιά εστιάζει στην πάλη του ατόμου για ανεξαρτησία απέναντι στην διαφθορά, τον ρατσισμό και την εκμετάλλευση του ανθρώπου από άνθρωπο με σκοπό το κέρδος με στόχο να φτιάξει ένα θέαμα ιδιαίτερα επίκαιρο και ενδιαφέρον για το ευρύ κοινό.
